The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Dec. 23 and Dec. 29:
Glendale
South Isabel Street, 100 block--Burglars entered a home Dec. 27 and stole $1,045 cash from the wallet of a sleeping victim.
South Cedar Street, 100 block--A transient who said he was collecting money for a church door-to-door, was attacked Dec. 27 at 8 p.m. by a thief, who demanded money, then cut the victim in the neck and fled.
Arden Avenue, 600 block--Burglars entered an unlocked home while the resident was in his garage and stole a watch, jewelry and gold coins valued at $3,700 on Dec. 27 between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
North Brand Boulevard, 300 block--A man making a bank deposit Dec. 28 at 5:20 p.m. was robbed of $2,500.
East Broadway, 1100 block--A convenience store clerk was robbed at knifepoint of $60 cash and seven packs of cigarettes on Dec. 28 at 12:45 a.m.
South Kenwood Street, 100 block--Two men were arrested for auto burglary Dec. 28 at 11 p.m., after guests at a wedding party noticed that several parked cars in an alley had been broken into.
La Canada Flintridge
Fairhurst Drive, 2100 block--An estimated $21,000 damage was done to the floors, ceilings and electrical system of a home when vandals entered it Dec. 25 or 26 and left water running.
Foothill Boulevard and Gould Avenue--Two young men were arrested and charged with forgery and robbery Dec. 24 at 7:40 p.m., after police found a BB gun and illicit credit card purchases in their car.
Atwater
Crystal Street, 2400 block--Burglars smashed a window of a business Dec. 26 or 27 and stole computer equipment valued at $2,910.
Partridge Avenue, 2800 block--Two robbers opened a person’s car door, threatened and punched the victim, and then took a wallet valued at $315 on Dec. 29 at 8:55 a.m.
Eagle Rock
Colorado Boulevard, 2200 block--A bag containing $7,166 was stolen at gunpoint from a person in a vehicle on Dec. 26 at 2 p.m.
Linda Rosa Avenue, 1800 block--A TV and household goods valued at $2,650 were stolen from a home Dec. 26, but one suspect was detained inside the residence.
Avenue 47, 1400 block--Burglars cut through the screen of an apartment and stole computer equipment and a stereo valued at $3,359 between Dec. 22 and 25.
Almaden Drive, 5100 block--A stereo and TV valued at $4,420 were stolen from an apartment Dec. 24 or 25.
Caledonia Way, 4300 block--Jewelry and precious metals valued at $4,500 were stolen from a home Dec. 27 between 4:30 and 6 p.m.
Echo Park
Lucretia Avenue, 1600 block--Two armed robbers took money and jewelry valued at $970 from a pedestrian Dec. 26 at 9 p.m. At 9:20 p.m. in the same block, another person reported being robbed of $530 at gunpoint.
Dorris Place, 2300 block--Two burglars posing as workers entered a home and stole $1,150 in cash on Dec. 27.
West Sunset Boulevard, 1300 block--A clothing store was burglarized on Dec. 27 or 28, and $4,065 worth of goods were stolen.
Franklin Hill
Griffith Park Boulevard, 3200 block--Three suspects armed with an ax chased and hit a person and stole the victim’s clothing valued at $69 on Dec. 23 at 5:30 p.m.
Ronda Vista Drive, 2200 block--A robber with a handgun threatened to shoot a person in a garage Dec. 25 at 1 a.m., until the victim gave up a purse valued at $163.
Glassell Park
Toland Way, 4800 block--Cash and tools valued at $1,039 were stolen from an unlocked home on Dec. 24 between midnight and 2 a.m.
San Fernando Road, 2500 block--Burglars opened a skylight and used ropes to enter a business between Dec. 24 and 26. Computer and musical equipment valued at $7,100 were reported stolen.
Fletcher Drive, 3500 block--Tools valued at $5,670 were reported stolen from a storage shed between Dec. 24 and 26.
Highland Park
York Boulevard, 6200 block--Burglars broke into a fast-food restaurant on Dec. 23 at 2:10 a.m., but took only empty cash boxes.
Avenue 50 and Figueroa Street--A person using a pay phone at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 was attacked and beaten, and a wallet valued at $200 was taken.
North Figueroa Street, 6000 block--A junior high school was vandalized between Dec. 20 and 26, and $5,000 in weights were reported stolen.
Avenue 51 and Granada Avenue--A Ford valued at $650 was stolen at knifepoint on Dec. 25 at 4 p.m.
Monte Vista Street, 5200 block--Three robbers entered an apartment Dec. 26 at 1:05 a.m. brandishing a sawed-off shotgun and an ice pick and robbed the occupants of $1,018.
Los Feliz
North Commonwealth Avenue, 2100 block--Two robbers opened a person’s car door, pointed guns and took $53 Dec. 26 at 8:30 p.m.
Rowena Avenue, 3300 block--Four people in two vehicles were robbed at gunpoint of money and jewelry valued at $3,436 in a garage Dec. 26 at 8:50 p.m.
Hollywood (West Silver Lake)
Fountain Avenue and New Hampshire--A person was stabbed and robbed of jewelry valued at $400 Dec. 24 at 4:45 p.m.
North Mariposa Avenue, 1400 block--Burglars knocked through a closet wall of an apartment, ransacked it, and stole a stereo and jewelry valued at $1,567 Dec. 24 or 25.
Hillhurst Avenue, 1900 block--About $6,000 worth of food and cigarettes were stolen from a business Dec. 26 or 27.
Silver Lake
Griffith Park Boulevard, 2600 block--A robber placed a knife to a person’s throat in a parking facility Dec. 23 at 3 p.m., and took a purse valued at $490.
Effie Street and Lucile Avenue--Three suspects, one armed with a revolver, robbed a pedestrian of $740 Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m.
Kenilworth Avenue, 2200 block--A purse and money valued at $675 were snatched from a person in a driveway Dec. 25 at 10:45 a.m.
Benton Way and Sunset Boulevard--Four suspects snatched a purse valued at $405 from a person on a sidewalk Dec. 26 at 8:15 a.m.
Reservoir Street, 2500 block--A person on a sidewalk was robbed of $85 Dec. 26 at 5:50 p.m. by six suspects, one armed with a handgun.
