A Deer Gesture: Rock star Ted Nugent spent part of New Year’s Eve doling out 200 pounds of venison to the homeless at a Salvation Army soup kitchen in Detroit. The musician, who shot three of the deer and paid for the meat to be professionally processed, said venison donations were a way for hunters to help the needy.
