Sign of the Time: Bonilla Is a Bargain

Time magazine may have been correct in its assessment of Bobby Bonilla’s salary; perhaps he is overpaid (Morning Briefing, Dec. 20). Time, however, neglects to mention that its chairman, Steven Ross, earned 12 times Bonilla’s 1992 salary during his first year after Time merged with Warner Bros, becoming Time-Warner. Not a bad salary for a year’s work.
