OH, GROW UP!

Lynn Smith’s characterization of Dr. Larry Werlin in the article on baby boomers only told part of the story. As patients of Dr. Werlin for the last four years, we have come to appreciate the intense dedication and commitment he has for those of us unable to conceive by natural means.
Somehow his outbursts of “Honky Tonk Woman” or “Desperado” make it all that much easier to endure the months of shots, blood tests and surgical procedures. The writer also didn’t see the compassion in his eyes when he told us that we had lost the baby we had worked so hard to conceive.
