Los Angeles police on Thursday identified two men found shot to death in a Sherman Oaks apartment.
The bodies of Gregory Neal Shepherd, 31, and Richard Scott Quinn, 27, were found Wednesday morning by Shepherd’s 6-year-old daughter, Chaney, in his apartment in the 4700 block of Sepulveda Boulevard near Camarillo Street, said Lt. Harvie Eubank.
The girl had arrived on Tuesday from Houston to visit her father for the holidays.
Shepherd worked as a maintenance man in the building, and Quinn was a construction worker who lived with his brother in the same building, Eubank said. Eubank said that police had uncovered no motive for the slayings. There were no signs of forced entry, Eubank said.
Chaney Shepherd’s mother and two grandmothers flew here Tuesday from Houston and took charge of the girl.
