The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Dec. 9 and Dec. 15:
Glendale
Western Avenue, 1100 block--Burglars entered a home through an underground crawl space and stole scuba gear and other property, valued at $1,675, from a closet between Dec. 7 and 11.
Maryland and Palmer avenues--On Dec. 9 at 12:30 a.m., three men were stopped on a sidewalk by three men, two armed with semi-automatic weapons, and robbed of their wallets and jackets, valued at $675.
Ivy Street, 700 block--The Glendale Humane Society was broken into Dec. 10 or 11, an unknown quantity of tranquilizers stolen and a stray dog released.
North Brand Boulevard, 300 block--A bank was robbed of about $700 at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 13.
Wonderview Drive, 300 block--A resident reported that a sterling silverware set, valued at $15,000, had been stolen and replaced with silverware of far less value, sometime between Dec. 10 and Dec. 13.
East Broadway, 700 block--A business was burglarized on Dec. 13, or 14, and a microwave oven and word processor valued at $1,200 were reported stolen.
Foothill Boulevard, 3200 block--About $200 was stolen at gunpoint from a supermarket manager at 11 p.m. Dec. 14.
State Street, 500 block--A VCR, stereo, jewelry and change valued at $925 were reported stolen from a home on Dec. 14 at 4:42 p.m.
East Broadway, 900 block--Burglars broke in through a window of a business on Dec. 14, or 15, and stole a large computer of a unknown value.
La Canada Flintridge
Angeles Crest Highway, 4500 block--Car tires and motor oil valued at $5,300 were stolen from a gas station storage box between Nov. 27 and Dec. 11.
Palm Drive, 5200 block--On Dec. 14, a man reported that a padlock had been pried off a shed and a $450 camera was missing.
Jessen Drive, 5200 block-A $100 outdoor brass lamp was stolen from a home at about 3 a.m. on Dec. 14.
La Crescenta
Foothill Boulevard, 2900 block--A bank robber handed a teller a note and made off with an estimated $3,400 at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 14.
Atwater
Chevy Chase Drive, 3900 block--A skip-loader left in a parking facility was stripped of $4,000 in parts between Dec. 6 and 11.
Los Feliz Boulevard, 3000 block--A vehicle was stolen from a gas station at 12:20 a.m. Dec. 14 after a robber got inside and threatened the driver’s life.
Perlita Avenue, 3000 block--Ten shotgun rounds were fired into a home at 4 a.m. Dec. 14. No injuries.
Blake Avenue, 1700 block--A business was burglarized, and a TV and stereo valued at $2,500 were stolen between Dec. 14 and 15.
Cypress Park
Pepper Avenue, 3300 block--Shots were fired into a home at 12:40 a.m. Dec. 9. No injuries.
Figueroa Street, 2600 block--Industrial equipment valued at $12,000 was stolen from a garment factory Dec. 12 or 13.
Eagle Rock
Colorado Boulevard, 2600 block--Armed with a submachine gun, a robber took $90 from a fast-food restaurant at 5 p.m. Dec. 10.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 5100 block--Video equipment and a stereo valued at $1,360 were stolen from a home between 3 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 12.
Echo Park
Allesandro Street, 2100 block--A burglar left his shoes behind after entering a home, but made off with video equipment, cameras and equipment valued at $3,500 between 6:30 and 11 p.m. Dec. 9.
Cerro Gordo Street, 1400 block--A stereo and video equipment valued at $1,200 were stolen from a home between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 11.
Elysian Valley
Blake Avenue, 1000 block--Two robbers stole a puppy, valued at $300, from a back yard at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 9.
Dallas Street, 2400 block--An air compressor, valued at $1,800, was stolen after someone cut through a fence Dec. 11 or 12.
Figueroa Street, 900 block--An armed robber demanded and obtained a wallet, valued at $542, from a person in their car at 5 a.m. Dec. 14.
Glassell Park
El Paso Drive, 1100 block--Burglars smashed a window of a home and made off with video equipment and jewelry valued at $1,570 between 8:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 11.
Avenue 35 and The Paseo--A purse, valued at $525, was yanked off a woman’s shoulder and stolen at 4:10 p.m. Dec. 14.
Highland Park
South Avenue 55, 1000 block--Money and video equipment, valued at $1,850, were stolen from an apartment between Dec. 6 and 9.
Delphi Street, 6000 block--An apartment was broken into and $3,300 in jewelry and a stereo were stolen between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 9.
East Avenue 36, 100 block--A delivery person was surrounded by six men, one armed with a revolver, and robbed of $220 and food at 8:40 p.m. Dec. 10.
Irvington Place, 5600 block--Although a resident’s return disrupted burglars, they escaped with money and jewelry valued at $1,400 at 7 p.m. Dec. 12.
North Avenue 61, 400 block--Burglars pried security bars from a home and stole $3,550 in video equipment and cash at 8:20 p.m. Dec. 13.
Los Feliz
Herkimer Street, 2800 block--An apartment was ransacked and a television and video equipment valued at $1,155 stolen between 12:55 and 6 p.m. Dec. 12.
Hillhurst Avenue, 2000 block-A robber armed with a handgun accosted two people on the street and stole $98 and credit cards at 11 p.m. Dec. 12.
Mt. Washington
Avenue 33, 2800 block--A resident reported $4,000 in tools stolen from a garage Dec. 9 or 10.
