PLACENTIA : President Selected by School Trustees

Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Trustee Karin Freeman has been named president of the school board for the coming year.
Trustees selected Freeman, 44, to replace Judy Miner, whose term expired last week. Freeman is a former supervisor of public service at Southern California Edison Co. She joined the school board in 1989 when the Placentia district merged with the Yorba Linda School District.
