Magic and Lakers: The Story Continues
Having followed the Lakers for 20 years, I feel I have the knowledge to say that the current Lakers play the most boring basketball I have ever seen.
Over the past three years plus, I have seen them grind to a screeching halt in terms of game tempo and entertainment value. I have come to find myself rooting against them. I would rather my team lose 120-115 than win 85-50, but I am here to be entertained by basketball, not bored to death by Slowtime.
It’s time for some new, young, energetic blood with some character to uphold the Laker tradition of Los Angeles entertainment quality. Magic or no, there is no Showtime left in Inglewood.
