MUSICAL SHARES: In an unusual provision of its new three-year contract (F2), the Pacific Symphony has agreed to share any budget surplus it posts at the end of the 1993-94 season with orchestra members. Half of any such surplus, up to $50,000, will be divided equally among contracted musicians. Of course, there might not be a surplus. Like many orchestras, the Pacific has been battling money problems, and over the years has accumulated a deficit, now at $830,000.
