CAMARILLO : Formation of Goals Panel to Be Sought
City planners will ask the Camarillo Council tonight to appoint a 25-member committee that would come up with community goals and decide whether to update the city’s General Plan.
Such goals were last determined about five or six years ago, when the population was 9,000 fewer than today’s 53,000, said Tony Boden, director of planning and community development.
If appointed, the Community Goals Updating Committee would include members representing all sectors of the city, and would probably take about six months to draft a report for the council, City Manager William Little said.
