H-P, Novell Broaden Ties: Hewlett-Packard Co. and computer network vendor Novell Inc. announced a number of joint projects, including an agreement for H-P to sell Novell products and a commitment by Novell to make its networking software work on H-P’s workstations. Novell networks have become the standard for tying personal computers together, and H-P will now become the first vendor to offer the networks on more-powerful workstations. H-P and Novell also said they are working together on software products for networking, printing, electronic messaging and directory services.
