Broadway Gets ‘Moe’: “Five Guys Named Moe,” a sold-out London musical based on the tunes of late American jazzman Louis Jordan, is heading for Broadway. It is scheduled to open at the Eugene O’Neill Theater on April 8, with previews beginning March 20. Written by U.K.-based American actor Clarke Peters, the show was taken into London’s West End last year by producer Cameron Mackintosh (“Cats,” “Miss Saigon,” “Phantom of the Opera”) after he saw a performance at a small theater on the outskirts of the city. Casting for the New York run has not been announced.
