Hendrix Auction: A trove of Jimi Hendrix items will be on the Sotheby’s auction block in New York on Dec. 17. Up for sale are the handwritten lyrics to 13 never-released songs and a 38-page movie treatment, titled “Moondust,” that Hendrix wrote, and a Pan Am Airlines travel bag that the guitarist had with him when he died after a night of drug abuse in London in 1970.
