Louise Karlsson of Sweden broke the world short-course record in the women’s 100-meter individual medley with a time of 1:01.96 at the Swedish swimming championships in Sodertalje.
Marion Zoller of Germany had set the record of 1:02.75 eight months ago in Sheffield, England.
