3 at Stalled Car Hurt by Hit-Run Driver
FULLERTON — Two people standing next to their stalled car and a third person seated inside were injured Sunday night when they were struck by a hit-and-run driver in a white Corvette.
The Corvette struck the stalled vehicle and the bystanders about 6:50 p.m. in the 400 block of westbound Orangethorpe Avenue, Police Lt. Rex Stricklin said.
Police were searching for the Corvette, which fled the scene going south on Richman Avenue, Stricklin said. Authorities did not release names, ages or hometowns of the victims.
The victims--two injured seriously and the other less so--were taken to Anaheim Memorial Hospital.
