UC San Diego and San Diego State played to a 1-1 tie at Aztec Bowl. Cindy Eddy put UCSD (13-0-2) on top two minutes into the game and Heide Walters tied it for SDSU (9-5-3) 30 minutes later.

COLLEGES

Jim G. Malik, faculty athletics representative at San Diego State, has been appointed by the WAC as its representative to the Council of the NCAA. The 46-member council serves as a quasi board of directors for the NCAA.
