Undefeated Rudy Zavala scored his ninth consecutive knockout when he stopped Mark Brooks at 2:38 of the first round of a scheduled 10-round super bantamweight fight at the Forum.
Zavala improved to 13-0. Brooks is 20-5.
In a flyweight bout, Ysaias Zamudio (26-3-1) won a 10-round decision over Edgar Decena (20-8-3).
