Youth Stabbed in High School Brawl
WESTMINSTER — A 15-year-old boy was stabbed as he attempted to break up a brawl among Latino, Vietnamese and white students at La Quinta High School on Monday, police said.
The boy, who was not named because of his age, was stabbed in his buttocks, Police Sgt. Jack Davidson said. He was treated at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center and released.
Police said the brawl was gang-related but declined to comment on whether it was racially motivated.
