Unisys Corp.: The Blue Bell, Pa., computer maker reported that its loss narrowed for the third quarter despite a decline in revenue.
The debt-laden computer company lost $75.8 million, or 66 cents per share, in the three months ended Sept. 30, compared to a loss of $357 million, or $2.42 a share, a year ago.
The results in 1990 were reduced by a $181-million charge for job eliminations and consolidation of operations.
Revenue in the third quarter fell 17.9% to $1.97 billion from $2.4 billion a year ago.
