FEDERAL CASE: Orange County patent attorneys used to spend a lot of time on the freeway before a federal courthouse came to Santa Ana three years ago. “It’s certainly made life easier for us,” said Irvine attorney Joseph Price, who has spent much of his 17 years here traipsing to Los Angeles to file patent infringement lawsuits. . . . Some of his more memorable suits were over a device for tattooing eyeliner and a machine for dispensing tortilla dough.
