Nation IN BRIEF : OHIO : Rival Pickets Clash at Clinic; 34 Arrested

About 400 activists, both for and against abortion, picketed a Cincinnati clinic, and 34 of them were arrested. A scuffle broke out between rival groups at the entrance to the Margaret Sanger Center, and 26 demonstrators were charged with disorderly conduct. Eight others were charged with trespassing for blocking the doors to the clinic. They had climbed over a fence behind the building as police monitored the crowd in front. Mounted police escorted several patients entering the clinic.
