Lawsuit Alleges Disney Stole Idea For Epcot: A man is suing Burbank-based Walt Disney Co., claiming that the entertainment giant stole his ideas for the futuristic Epcot Center at Walt Disney World in Florida. The lawsuit, filed by John Barrick in U.S. District Court in Bowling Green, Ky., asks for compensatory and punitive damages, plus a portion of the past and future profits at the educational and scientific theme park. Walt Disney and Epcot Center representatives in Florida declined comment.
