The Dodgers’ weekend in the Bay Area was painful. No question. But let’s, for a moment, review the history of the World Series championships for some of the cities and teams that reveled in the Blue Crew’s brown-out.

Houston Astros: 0 for 30 years.
Atlanta Braves: 0 for 25 years.
San Diego Padres: 0 for 23 years.
Now that’s painful.
