It’s in the Bank: A Van Gogh painting that was stolen in the Netherlands last year was discovered Thursday in a bank safe in northern Belgium. “The Digging Farmer” was one of three Van Gogh paintings stolen from a local museum in Den Bosch on June 28, 1990. It was insured for $30,000. Apart from a few stains, the painting was not damaged.
