State Crude Output Falls Again: California crude oil production decreased in 1990 for the fifth year in a row, the state Conservation Department said. Production totaled 350.7 million barrels, compared to 364.3 million in 1989. Production from offshore state leases declined to 23.5 million barrels from 25.4 million. Output from federal leases dropped to 29.9 million from 33.1 million. Natural gas production also dropped. It was 364.8 billion cubic feet in 1990, down from 376.8 billion cubic feet.
