Park and School Dedicated Together
A joint dedication of Oak Mesa Elementary School and adjacent Oak Mesa Park was held Tuesday by Bonita Unified School District and the city of La Verne.
Members of the Bonita Unified School District Board of Education and the La Verne City Council were on hand to dedicate the school and the park, which were developed as a joint venture.
Oak Mesa School opened its doors Sept. 3, relieving many students of bus rides to other elementary schools.
