What Reds’ Charlton Did Was Criminal
Norm Charlton’s admission that he intended to hit Mike Scioscia in the head is evidenced that he conspired to commit bodily injury. Conspiracy is a criminal act and he should be tried by a judge or jury. In the interim, he should be barred from baseball.
If Pete Rose can be barred from baseball for betting, surely Charlton deserves more severe punishment.
