SEAL BEACH : Council Increases Document Fees

Copies of the City Charter, municipal codes and other documents will be going up in price to cover photocopying costs.
The City Council approved the new fees to raise about $3,000 a year. Copies of the City Charter will be raised to $8.50 from $5, and copies of the municipal codes will go up from $60 to $70. The changes take effect in two months.
During the next several months, the council is expected to consider increasing rates for other municipal services, including tree-trimming and building permits.
