COUNTYWIDE : BPW Offers $1,000 for College Re-Entry

The Business and Professional Women of the Conejo Valley is sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship for a woman re-entering college, a spokeswoman said.
The scholarship will be awarded in January to a woman 25 or older who lives in or attends school in the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley, Camarillo or Moorpark, said spokeswoman Mary Honeyman.
The award will be based on the student’s application, personal interview and recommendations, Honeyman said.
Applications may be obtained at Moorpark College, Pierce College, Oxnard College, Ventura College, Cal Lutheran University, Pepperdine University and libraries in Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley and Camarillo, or by calling 497-8179.
Application deadline is Dec. 1.
