OXNARD : Driver Dies When Pickup Hits Pole

The unidentified driver of a pickup truck died in a crash south of Oxnard on Wednesday night when the vehicle collided with a power pole, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Investigators were looking into the possibility that a second car may have caused the accident, a CHP spokeswoman said.
According to a preliminary report, the victim was the sole occupant of a truck that crashed just after 8 p.m. on Hueneme Road near Arnold Road. No other details were available late Wednesday.
