World IN BRIEF : SOUTH AFRICA : 6 More Blacks Slain in Factional Battles

Six people were shot and stabbed to death in attacks on commuter trains, bringing the death toll to 92 in the latest wave of black factional fighting. The violence erupted in Soweto township when gunmen opened fire on people waiting for trains, killing three women. At least three more people were stabbed to death on commuter trains during the night.
