SPREADING GOSPEL: County GOP Chairman Thomas A. Fuentes has combined his zeal for Latin America and his love of talking politics. He’s in Nicaragua this week for a series of lectures in three cities on how to finance and run a political party. . . . “Hands-on” spreading the word about democracy, Fuentes calls it. He’ll not likely be modest about the local numbers: 230,000 more registered Republicans than Democrats.
