During the 12-month period beginning July, 1990, and ending June 30, 85 food-handling establishments--grocery stores, bars and mostly restaurants--had their health permits revoked. The reasons ranged from no hot water to severely unsanitary conditions. Here’s where the action took place during the 12-month period:
