GARDEN GROVE : Slow: Road Work on Orangewood Avenue
- Share via
Portions of Orangewood Avenue were closed beginning this week because of a street reconstruction project that is expected to be ongoing until late September.
The project will force the partial closure of Orangewood between Gilbert and Brookhurst streets from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
The section of Orangewood between Gilbert Street and Gardenaire Lane will be closed during the first few weeks of construction, but local businesses and residents will be allowed access, said John Ompad, project engineer.
The $170,000 project is being paid for by the city and the county Arterial Highway Financing Program.
