OXNARD : 5 Men Sought in Kidnaping-Assault

Oxnard police are looking for five men who kidnaped, raped and robbed a 29-year-old woman in a field near Rice Road.
The men, who were driving a red and white sedan, pulled up to the woman about 6 p.m. Thursday on Third Street while she was walking home after cashing a check, police said.
The men forced her into the car and drove her to the field, where they raped her several times before taking her money and abandoning her, police said. The men, who range from 25 to 28 years old, took $220 in cash and an $185 money order.
The woman, a fieldworker who suffered minor scratches and bruises, called for help at the Procter & Gamble paper plant on Rice Road, police said.
