Scott Lago; Helped Organize Tour of AIDS Quilt

Scott Lago, 31, one of the original members of the Names Project. Lago helped organize the first two tours of the AIDS quilt in 1987, which has been shown in 20 U.S. cities and 10 Canadian cities. The quilt, the size of three football fields, is made up of squares that honor people who have died of AIDS-related illnesses. Since 1987, Lago has organized the displays at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco for the annual Day of Remembrance in honor of those who have died.
