SIMI VALLEY : Water Rate Increase Delayed Until Sept. 4
The good news is that Simi Valley residents who buy their water from the city will not have to pay higher rates until September.
The bad news is that in the future water customers will be given 48 days instead of 60 to pay their bills before their service is cut off.
The City Council agreed Monday to delay imposing higher water rates until Sept. 4. Both the city and the district’s rate increases were scheduled to take effect July 1.
