SIMI VALLEY : Driver Dies After Crashing Into Truck
A 26-year-old Simi Valley woman died Tuesday after she lost control of her car and hit an oncoming vehicle, police said.
Teri Lynn Colvin was driving on Madera Road near Wood Ranch about 3 p.m. Tuesday when her car spun around, striking a four-wheel-drive pickup driven by Ralph Boyd, 43, of Simi Valley, Lt. Don Austin said.
Colvin was transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks where she died of head and internal injuries about 4 p.m., Austin said.
Boyd was treated at Los Robles for back and neck pains and then released, Austin said.
