CROWD PLEASERS: Orange County Fair press releases said nothing of Monday’s scheduled appearance by popular morning DJs Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps, but organizers are girding for “a crush” of fans. . . . Fair spokesman Don Escalante said the KLOS-FM comedy team was a late confirmation and “we didn’t want to promise what we couldn’t deliver.” The wacky pair, who mentioned the gig on the air Friday, will sign autographs from 4 to 6 p.m. at the station’s booth.
