Santa Monica : Task Force on Environment
The City Council unanimously agreed Tuesday night to create a task force on the environmental policy.
The seven-member task force will meet with the city manager to develop a long-term environmental policy agenda for the city.
Among the issues they will study are Santa Monica Bay pollution, air quality, water conservation and quality, energy conservation and hazardous materials management.
