Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Car
A 45-year-old Sepulveda man was killed Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with a car that stopped in front of him in Encino, police said.
The man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, lost control of his motorcycle about 6 p.m. in the 16300 block of Ventura Boulevard near Libbit Avenue, Los Angles Police Officer Jack Jung said. No one else was injured.
The man, who was pronounced dead at Encino Hospital, was not traveling at an excessive speed but apparently misjudged the distance between him and the cars in front of him, Jung said.
