Obscene in Canada: A Canadian judge has convicted a London, Ontario, bookstore owner of “obscenity” for selling Florida rap group 2 Live Crew’s sexually explicit “As Nasty as They Wanna Be” album. The judge said the album “exceeds the Canadian standards of tolerance” and sentenced store owner Marc Emery to 12 months probation.
