Walk On By: Carole Bayer Sager and Burt Bacharach are no longer making beautiful music together. Sager filed for divorce after 10 years of a marriage that teamed two of the music industry’s most honored songwriters. “Our marriage produced a great son (Christopher Elton, 5) and some good songs,” Sager said last week. Sager and Bacharach won the Academy Award for best song in 1981 for “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do)” and their “That’s What Friends Are For” won the song-of-the-year Grammy in 1986.
