Santee Man Dies After Truck Sideswipes Car

A 23-year-old Santee man was killed when the truck he was driving crossed the double yellow lines and sideswiped a car going in the opposite direction on Wildcat Canyon Road in Lakeside, authorities said Tuesday.
Guy Castiglione died at 8:10 p.m. Monday when he was thrown from his pickup truck as it rolled over about 10 miles north of Willow Road, California Highway Patrol Officer Bob Melton said.
Castiglione’s truck had first sideswiped a car driven by Cliff Hall, 21, of Ramona, Melton said. Hall suffered minor injuries.
