1 Killed, 4 Wounded in Long Beach Attack
One man was killed and four others wounded Saturday when a man opened fire on them with a handgun as they sat in front of a house in Long Beach, police said. The motive for the shooting was unknown.
It occurred at 4:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of St. Louis Avenue, according to Sgt. Steve Laing. The unidentified suspect fled.
The identity of the dead man was not immediately released. The four wounded men, all 20-year-old Latinos, were taken to St. Mary Medical Center.
