Sweet Dogs of Youth

I thoroughly enjoyed the “Dog Day Afternoons” piece by Jonathan Gold (Counter Intelligence, May 23).

I have not been back to Dodger Stadium in as many years as Gold, and still he has revived the heart-warming memories of going to the ballpark, stuffing yourself on grilled Dodger Dogs, peanuts and Carnation malts! I could actually smell those Dodger Dogs being grilled as I read his review.

Thanks for bringing back the memories of fun days and times at Dodger Stadium.
