Peter’s Landing to Go on Block for Nonpayment

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Peter’s Landing--an 8-acre complex of shops, restaurants and offices rimming Huntington Harbour just off Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach--goes up for sale July 19 because the owner hasn’t been making mortgage payments.
The lender, Westinghouse Credit Corp., is foreclosing on the property and is planning to sell it for at least $19 million to satisfy the loan, according to county records.
Owner Richard J. Nathan bought the complex in 1988 for $18 million, the records show. The two-story, pastel-colored complex at 16400 Pacific Coast Highway was built in 1979 and has 98,000 square feet of space.
