As Jim Healy would say, Allan Malamud has gone the Leonard Tose route; he’s lost it. Trying to say that John Stockton is proof that Bob Cousy could play in the NBA today is a joke. Cousy would be overmatched. He never had one season in the NBA where he shot 40%. The game today is faster and better. Today’s guards would run him into the ground. A playmaking guard that doesn’t shoot 40% wouldn’t make it through training camp.
