PAHOKEE, Fla. — A boy who had apparently feuded last week with two classmates shot and wounded them Monday during a school break and killed a bystander, a school official said.
The 18-year-old student, identified as Benjamin Dotson, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder, police said. The shooting occurred at the School of Choice in Pahokee, an alternative facility for youngsters 14 to 21 considered in danger of dropping out.
