A Guide to the Best of Southern California : OUT & ABOUT : House Calls
Anyone who works long hours and spends what seems like eons stuck in traffic is probably looking for a few shortcuts.
Anything to Go is a slick, magazine-like collection of ads for restaurants--menus for Italian, vegetarian and Persian meals, to name a few, take up most of the 34 pages--and other businesses that will deliver everything from lobster Cantonese to meatball subs, vitamins to recycled office paper.
The first issue includes services in Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City and Westwood. A second, due in June, will cover the San Fernando Valley and a third, the coastal cities. The price: $2. While Anything to Go is by no means a comprehensive guide, it’s a good place to start.
Anything to Go is available at Chalet Gourmet, 7880 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, (213) 874-6301; or by mail order, (213) 938-5151.
